   Our goal is to maintain our county’s beauty by providing solid waste services that stay up to date with state codes and stay in compliance with state regulations. Our Solid Waste Director Keith Kilby and employees strive to provide exceptional, friendly services to our citizens. Mr. Kilby recently took over as the director in 2019 and has continuously worked hard to revamp the program. We currently manage 9 convenient centers around the county, landfill and recycling center. We provide trash pick ups for local businesses and offer can rentals for the citizens.

Services offered

                  • Convenience Centers throughout the county for public garbage disposal. Free courtesy of the county to citizens. (Locations and times of operations listed below)
                  • Disposal of Class 4 debris at the local Landfill – No household trash accepted at landfill
                  • 6 yard cans offered for business garbage pick-up (Prices vary, contact us.)
                  • Small and large can rentals for in county use only. Rates vary.
                  • Recyclable materials accepted at the Recycle Center. Cardboard, Plastic, Paper
                  • Used oil accepted at Convenience Centers
